Walk-ins

No calendar, no pressure, just pure play! Drop by the studio during "walk-in" hours, pick your pack of materials from the walk-in menu, and settle into your own creative bubble. You have 90 minutes, all materials are provided, and you get to create whatever you want! Painting plant pots, exploring watercolors, making magnets, or even customizing a Lisbon keyring... the choice is yours!

Workshops

Every month, an array of different workshops are held at Peanut Blu. We explore a brand-new craft every week, from mosaic and resin to embroidery and so much more!Duration: Each workshop runs between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours (short enough to have a blast and learn a real skill!).How it Works: A fresh calendar drops every month featuring all upcoming sessions, and spots are pre-booked in advance.See a workshop that catches your eye? The story behind Peanut Blu

Hi! I’m Roxi Blu, or 'Peanut Blu' to those closest to me. The Peanut part started from as early as I can remember, with my little ginger head and body, my mom said I looked just like a little peanut ;)I’m originally from a teeny-tiny village in South Africa, but about eight years ago, I packed a suitcase in one hand, a ridiculous amount of art supplies in the other, and set off to take on the world. After bopping around different countries looking for the right spot to park my creative madness, I finally found little Lisbon.I’ve always dreamed of creating a haven where people can come experiment with art, whether you’ve picked up a brush a million times or never before. I promised myself I’d get this dream running by the time I hit thirty... and well, I hit the big 3-0!So, I created Peanut Blu: a sanctuary where you can come play, hide away in your own creative bubble, or meet people who are just as delightfully obsessed with making things by hand as we are.

Who is Peanut Blu for?

Everyone! But if I’m being completely honest, I created it with adults in mind!Before this, I was a kindergarten teacher, and I noticed something frustrating: there are endless spaces for kids to get creative, but for adults? Almost none, especially if you just want to "try" something out without committing to a massive course or workshop.While plenty of children find their way to Peanut Blu (and always will!), the heart of this space belongs to the grown-ups. It makes me endlessly happy to watch us put down the wall of having to make something "perfect" and just remember how to enjoy the pure process of creating.
